Wayne has helped create an environment where Colorado businesses can thrive. Since becoming Secretary of State, Colorado has added over 100,000 businesses, thanks in part to an inexpensive and easy process available to Coloradans to start new businesses. Working with Governor John Hickenlooper, Wayne rolled out mybiz.Colorado.gov, to make it even easier.

While some candidates for the office might aim to turn the Colorado Secretary of State’s office into a hyper-partisan office that only seeks to serve one political party or agenda, Wayne understands the necessity to serve all Coloradans fairly and equally.
Since becoming Secretary of State, Wayne has earned the respect of Coloradans of all political persuasions because they know that he is a principled leader who puts good policy above politics and works to serve the needs of the people of Colorado.
Wayne is also recognized nationally. Democrat Jim Condos, Vermont Secretary of State and President of the National Association of Secretaries of State, said "I’ve seen firsthand how Wayne Williams has worked across the aisle to bring people together. Wayne works with both Democrats and Republicans to protect our nation’s elections and to ensure the right to vote. That why I asked him to serve again on the NASS executive board."
